“Wonder festival 2016 [Summer]”was held at Makuhari Messe (Chiba, Japan) on July 24th, 2016.
We would like to give a report about our CoolProps booth!
7月24日に幕張メッセにて開催されましたに『ワンダーフェスティバル2016[夏]』のCoolPropsブースをレポート！
We have displayed many products and props from the movie franchise “Predator” at our past Wonder Festival’s booth, but this time, since this is the 30th anniversary year of the movie “Aliens” our booth’s theme was “Alien Festival” so we have displayed 9 aliens including original props.
過去のワンフェスではプレデター関連の商品やプロップを展示してきたCoolPropsですが、今回のワンフェスのテーマは『エイリアン祭り』という事で、ブースにはオリジナルプロップを含む9のエイリアンを展示しました。
We would like to introduce you our production sample of ALIENS/ DOGALIEN LIFE-SIZE HEAD PROP REPLICA and ALIEN RESSURECTION/ NEWBORN ALIEN LIFE-SIZE HEAD PROP REPLICA.
まず紹介したいのが、今回工場サンプル版を展示した『エイリアン２/ドッグ エイリアン ライフサイズ ヘッド プロップレプリカ』と『エイリアン４/ニューボーン エイリアン ライフサイズ ヘッド プロップレプリカ 』です。
Dog Alien was only sold 75 limited in Japan for the event “ALIEN SAPIENS” at TOYSAPIENS, Japan for first Alien Day.
*Still available to pre-order outside of Japan.
Even the difficult transparent dome was replicated and we are sure that our customers who has already pre-ordered this item, are happy with the result.
今年から制定されたエイリアン・デーを祝して原宿トイサピエンスにて行われましたイベント『エイリアン・サピエンス』で75体限定予約販売を行いました。※現在は予約受付を終了しております。
難しいとされていたフードも見事なまでに再現されており、既に予約されてるお客様には喜んで頂けたのではないでしょうか。
The production sample of NEWBORN also managed to replicate the hideous looks with innocent eyes and also the realistic wet paint finish.
ニューボーンの工場サンプルは、そのグロテスクな外見と、つぶらな瞳、生々しさを表す塗装も、完璧に再現されています。
ALIENS/ ALIEN WARRIOR SCREEN USED PROP is the original prop we got all the information from.
This is a screen-used stunt suits head.
注目して頂きたいのが『エイリアン２/エイリアン ウォーリアー スクリーンユーズド プロップ』。このプロップはスタント用スーツのヘッドで、映画の撮影でも実際に使用されました。
What you are looking at now is our colored sample of ALIENS/ ALIEN WARRIOR LIFE-SIZE HEAD PROP REPLICA BLUE EDITION. This was produced based on the original screen-used prop.
そして『エイリアン２/エイリアン ウォーリアー ライフサイズヘッド プロップレプリカ ブルーエディション』のデコマス版を展示。先程紹介した映画で実際に使用されたスーツのヘッドから商品開発を行いました。
This one is also sold limited to 75 pieces for ALIEN・SAPIENCE. *Still available for pre-orders through Sideshow Collectibles outside of Japan.
ドッグエイリアン同様、エイリアン・サピエンス限定75体予約販売を行った商品です。
We were happy to display the prototype of ALIEN RESSURECTION/ ALIEN NEW WARRIOR LIFE-SIZE HEAD PROP REPLICA for the first time.
そして、大注目なのは今回初披露となった『エイリアン４/ エイリアン ニューウォーリアー ライフサイズ ヘッド プロップレプリカ』の原型です。
This product is also produced based on the screen-used stunt suits.
This prototype covers the New Warrior’s distinctive feature of sharp chin and you can see the inner mold that you could not see in the movie, through the transparent dome.
This product is still at the production process, but we were very happy to introduce upcoming line-up to our fans.
こちらの商品は映画撮影に使用されたスタント用スーツを基に製作しています。
ニューウォーリアーの特徴ともいえる突き出た顎や、劇中では確認出来なかったフード内の構造までクリアーなフードから、確認する事が出来ます。
まだ発売日は未定となっておりますが、CoolPropsのファンの皆さまに新たに新商品のラインナップを紹介する事が出来ました。
We are sure that now everybody knows that we do like to display original props at the Wonder Festival. This time most stand-out prop we displayed was definitely the ALIENS/ ALIEN QUEEN PROMOTION HEAD PROP REPLICA.
続いて、CoolPropsのワンフェスブースでは恒例となったプロップ展示ですが、今回その中でもひときわ目立ったのが、『エイリアン２/ エイリアンクイーン プロモーションヘッド プロップレプリカ』。
We hang this huge head at the center of our booth. As if she was looking at other aliens from above.
This head was made and used in the promotion of the release of the boxed set of the movie “ALIEN” on VHS. This was cast directly from the original mould.
Having been used for a variety of projects since its initial use, the head was acquired in a worn condition. Bruce Hansing, who was involved in building the original Queen, carefully restored this head.
Last year, Lance Henrriksen who is known as Bishop from the movie “ALIENS” met this huge monster and autographed his name on the left side of the head.
まるで他のエイリアン達を見下ろしているかの様に吊るされたこのヘッドは、映画『エイリアン』のビデオリリースのプロモーション用として製作され、実際に撮影で使用されたものと同じ型を使って製作されました。ロンドンなど様々な場所で展示された事により損傷した部分は、劇中のエイリアンクイーンの製作に携わったブルースハンシング氏によって修復を施されました。
昨年には『エイリアン２』のビショップ役を演じたランス・ヘンリクセン氏と対面を果たし、頭部の左側面にサインが記されました。
Next hot prop we displayed at our booth was the original prop which was made at the H.R. Giger’s factory, “ALIEN/ GIGAR’S ALIEN SCREEN UN-USED PROP”.
続いて注目度が高かったのは、ギーガー工房で製作された『エイリアン/ギーガーズエイリアン スクリーン アンユーズド プロップ』です。
This prop was not used in the movie. However, when the production of the movie “ALIENS”, H.R.Giger sent this as the reference item to the movie director, James Cameron.
You can see the details in the head pipe part.
We are now producing the product based on this prop.
こちらは映画『エイリアン』では実際に使用されなかったのですが、『エイリアン２』の製作の際、H.R.ギーガー氏よりジェームズ・キャメロン監督に参考資料として送られたオリジナルモールドのプロップです。頭部にはパイプ部分の詳細なモールドが残されており、当時の情報をそのまま残しています。現在製品開発中の弊社の商品もこちらのプロップを基に製作が進んでいます。
We have also displayed the screen-used props of ALIEN VS. PREDATOR/ BATTLE ALIEN SCREEN-USED PROP and ALIENS VS, PREDATOR REQUIEM/ NOUVELLE WARRIOR SCREEN-USED PROP.
この他にも『エイリアンVS プレデター/ バトルエイリアン スクリーンユーズド プロップ』と『エイリアンズ VS プレデター２/ヌーベル ウォーリアー スクリーンユーズド プロップ』などの貴重なプロップも展示しました。
