On April 26th as known as ALIEN DAY, we, CoolProps held our press release for our new product at SF bar “Kanda FLUX”.
4月26日のエイリアンデーにＳＦバー神田FLUXにて、CoolProps新商品発表会を開催しました。
We displayed our new product and some original props. The MC of the night was famous Japanese comedian who is also known as prop collector, Mr. Yakan Nabe.
Together with CoolProps CEO Naoto Suzuki, we also had a guest speaker Mr. Mitsuaki Munegumi who is the CEO of STYLES ON VIDEO JAPAN CO., LTD and we talked about behind-the-scenes story of development of GIGER’S ALIEN.
新製品のお披露目や、プロップの展示、またなべやかんさんをMCにお招きして、ゲストの胸組様と弊社社長鈴木の対談、開発秘話等をお話しさせて頂きました。
Fist of all, we all drank a toast with the special drink for ALIEN DAY called “Necronomicon” with the people who support us.
イベント限定のエイリアンデー特製カクテル、ネクロノミコンで、日々CoolPropsをご愛顧いただいている皆様と乾杯させて頂きました。
The main display of this event was the prototype of ALIEN/GIGER’S ALIEN LIFE-SIZE HEAD.
この日の目玉と言えばやはりALIEN/ GIGER’S ALIEN LIFE-SIZE HEADのプロトタイプの展示でした。
After 3 long years, we were finally able to show our finished-prototype of GIGER’S ALIEN.
Part I of the event we talked about the particulars of the development of this item and the difficult part of this item with many pictures.
3年もの月日を重ね、ようやく皆様に完成したGIGER’S ALIENお披露目する事ができました。
イベント第１部では、完成に至るまでの経緯や、特に苦労した点などを写真を交えて皆様にお話しさせて頂きました。
Mr. Mitsuaki Munegumi who was one of the closest Japanese friends of HR Giger explained to us the behind-the-scenes story with HR Giger when they co-produced HOLLYWOOD COLLECTORS GALLERY’s “GIGER’S ALIEN”.
日本でギーガー氏ととても友好の深かった胸組様から、ハリコレ様から発売された『GIGER’S ALIEN』を製作するにあたってのギーガー氏との取り組みも語って頂きました。
Also,we were proud to introduce TWENTY CO.,LTD to the audience who helped us greatly in the production of the hood of GIGER’S ALIEN which was the hardest process for us.
そして私達が今作品を製作する上で最も苦労したフードの製作を行う上で、大変ご協力を頂いたツエニ-様も紹介させて頂きました。
And, we were able to explain how we were able to earn the approval from the MUSEUM HR GIGER.
we are proud to say that we were able to appeal our GIGER’S ALIEN to everyone.
今回、どの様にMUSEUM HR GIGER からの承認を得る事が出来たのかという経緯も皆様にお伝えさせて頂き、今商品の持つ良さをふんだんにアピールさせて頂けたのではないかと思います。
In Part II, we introduced the original props we displayed at the event.
The original prop which came from HR GIGER’S workshop, and from the movie “AVP:ALIEN VS PREDATOR”, “AVP: ALIEN VS PREDATOR/ ELDER PREDATOR SCREEN-USED MASK”.
Also, we displayed “AVP: ALIEN VS.PREDATOR/ UBOR ELDER PREDATOR MASK SCREEN UN USED PROP” which was supposed to be worn by one of the Elder Predators in the movie “ALIEN VS.PREDATOR”.
第2部では会場内に展示させて頂いたプロップの解説を行いました。
GIGER’S ALIEN製作の際、使用したギーガー氏の工房から渡ったプロップ、今回初お披露目となる映画『AVP:ALIEN VS PREDATOR』で使用された
『AVP: ALIEN VS PREDATOR/ ELDER PREDATOR SCREEN-USED MASK』、またこちらも同作品『AVP:ALIEN VS PREDATOR』の撮影で登場予定だった複数のエルダープレデターの内の一体によって、被られるはずだった『AVP: ALIEN VS.PREDATOR/ UBOR ELDER PREDATOR MASK SCREEN UN USED PROP』も展示しました。
これらの沢山のオリジナルプロップにまつわる撮影裏話は来場して頂いたお客様には楽しんでいただけたのではないでしょうか。
In Part III, We introduced the future line-up. and for the first time, we announced that ALIEN/GIGER’S ALIEN 1:3 MAQUETTE is now in our line-up!
第3部では、CoolPropsの今後のラインナップをいくつか紹介させて頂き、新たにALIEN/ GIGER’S ALIEN 1:3 MAQUETTEの製作を進めている事もアナウンスさせて頂きました。

At the event, so many people gathered and we even had standees. It really was the wonderful Alien Day.
